How To Use Farmville Crop Rotation For A Quick Start In The Game

Posted on Sunday, February 13, 2011 in Games

Does the following scenario sound like you? You're a new Farmville player and you decide to visit a friend's farm. When you arrive, you instantly feel disappointed with your own farm. Your friend's farm is huge with tons of crops, animals and decoration. But your farm doesn't even have a simple whitewash fence. You want to start making lots of coins, but you're not sure how to do it. If that sounds like you, don't give up yet! There's a secret easy Farmville technique that will help you to turn profits faster than you can say "free coins!" It's so easy that you can even do it overnight, while you SLEEP! The secret is a Farmville technique that's somewhat based off of a real-life agricultural system called crop rotation. It works a bit differently in Farmville than it does in the real world, though, so all you really need to know is that Farmville crop rotation helps you make the highest weekly profit as possible from your crops. This system works under the assumption that you sleep for eight hours per night, and also that you are able to dedicate a good chunk of time to Farmville, even if it's spread throughout the day. The procedures for this system are pretty straightforward. Upon awakening after your eight hours of sleep, plant and harvest strawberries for the entire day. Since strawberries take four hours to be ready for harvest, you'll get four harvests in a day if you wake up at 8 a.m. and go to bed at midnight. If you're planting strawberries in a section that's four plots by four plots, four strawberry harvests in one day equals 2,240 coins. However, only 640 of that 2,240 coins is pure profit because with every harvest you have to subtract the cost of buying the seeds (10 coins) and plowing the land (15 coins). Out of all the crops available to you from levels one through four (strawberries, eggplants, wheat, soybeans and peanuts), strawberries earn the most coins per hour. The exact number of coins that they earn per hour is 6.25, which is found by subtracting the cost of the seeds from the sell price of the crop, and then dividing by the number of hours it takes them to mature. When dividing, remember that Farmville uses a 23 hour day, so a crop that takes two days to mature really only takes 46 hours, not 48 hours. Following that same formula, the number of coins per hour for the other starting crops is 1.37 for eggplants, 4 for wheat, 2 for soybeans and 3.63 for peanuts. The actual rotation of crops comes in to play just before you go to sleep. You'll want to harvest your last strawberry crop and then plant something that will be take longer to mature, but will still be ready to be harvested when you wake up. The best crop for this job, then, is pumpkins, since they take eight hours to mature. If you grow strawberries all day, you should be able to get enough experience to reach level five and gain access to pumpkins before the day ends. However, if you somehow don't reach level five in time, you have two options: 1.) to not grow crops overnight or 2.) to grow strawberries overnight and wake up a little earlier to harvest them since they rot after a full eight hours. Under this crop rotation system - growing strawberries during the day and pumpkins overnight - you'll maximize your earnings and, in one week, make 4,480 coins from strawberries and 2,576 coins from pumpkins, for a total of 7,056 coins. And that's all profit because the plowing and seed cost was already subtracted from those figures! When you reach level eight, you may want to switch to planting raspberries. They make more than double what strawberries make per hour -- 13 coins -- and it only takes them two hours to mature! This means they'll make a profit of 9,856 coins each week or more depending on how many plots in which you're planting and harvesting. The only downside is that raspberries require a higher time commitment than strawberries, but the extra coins should balance that out for you. So, in review, if you want to maximize the number of coins you're earning per week, just make sure to follow this simple crop rotation system. All you have to do is plant strawberries or raspberries all throughout the day - making sure to harvest them at the appropriate times - and then before you go to bed, harvest your last strawberry or raspberry crop and plant pumpkins. As soon as you wake up, harvest your pumpkin crop and then repeat the previous steps. Congratulations! You are now on your way to making tons of coins in Farmville! Make Your Choice From Several Online Registry Cleaners

Posted on Monday, June 21, 2010 in Games

Many computer users want to know if they should use registry cleaners. Several computer experts say that it is a good idea to use a registry cleaner on occasion. They believe that computers will function better if a registry is employed. The registry in you computer keeps track of your system, meaning your settings, hardware configuration, your user preferences, associations of files, and the software installed in your machine. For those with a little more technical knowledge, you know that the registry tracks the hardware, software, and operating system relationship. This complicated system, the registry, can become a tangled configuration of settings, information, and engineering. The result of the complicated entanglement could mean a slower running system and a less than reliable computer. It is not uncommon for your computer registry to grow to a large unmanageable size over time. The result could be an unstable computer. If your computer takes longer than normal to start up, your system might need to be cleaned. Some feel their computer runs faster after a registry cleaning. Of course the process of cleaning your registry is a very complicated process, but you are probably only interested in getting your computer to run faster rather than understanding all the technical processes involved. If you do employ a cleaning software, choose one that allows you to back up your system. The registry as you can imagine is a complicated configuration that needs to be treated carefully. If the software deletes a necessary key, then you might not be able to reboot your computer. If you accidentally remove the wrong key from your system, you might not be able to reboot your computer and you will have to restore the whole system. You will be find various registry cleaning software online, some are free to use, while some you have to pay for. Some programs do more than simply clean your registry. You will find software that also, besides clean your registry, will delete unnecessary files such as temporary files. You can safely delete these files if you need to free space on your hard drive. You can also freely delete files from your recycle bin if you are sure you will not need those files any longer. Read the reviews of all the registry cleaning software you are thinking of using.
